Bret Hart criticizes Hulk Hogan as a “liar” before Peacock documentary premiere

Bret Hart is not one to mince words when it comes to his feelings about Hulk Hogan, and in a recent interview with TMZ Sports, he made it clear that he still doesn’t trust a thing Hogan says. The WWE Hall of Famer took a shot at Hogan while discussing Peacock’s upcoming documentary, Becoming a Spectacle, which delves into some of wrestling’s most iconic moments, including the mystery black eye Hogan sported before WrestleMania IX in 1993.

According to Hart, Hogan has always been known as a “liar,” and he advised viewers to take whatever Hogan says with a grain of salt. In Hart’s opinion, the late “Macho Man” Randy Savage was a much more trustworthy source of information. While Hart couldn’t confirm the origin of Hogan’s black eye, he mentioned that wrestlers showing up with black eyes was not uncommon, often with some sort of story behind it.

The tension between Hogan and Hart dates back to the early ’90s when Hart believed Hogan blocked his rise in WWE. This bitterness has persisted over the years, with Hart consistently throwing shade at Hogan in interviews. The upcoming documentary featuring names like The Undertaker and Hart himself is sure to stir up some old-school drama.
