The National Football League has hit it big with a whopping 22 Sports Emmy Award nominations! That’s right, the NFL Network, NFL Films, and the league office have all been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for their outstanding work.

One of the standout nominations went to the NFL Network’s popular show “Good Morning Football” in the Outstanding Studio Show – Daily category. This marks the fourth nomination for the show and the first since it moved to Los Angeles in 2024. And let’s not forget about Scott Hanson from “NFL RedZone,” who snagged a nomination for Outstanding Personality – Studio Host.

But that’s not all! NFL Network’s original content team also shined bright with four nominations, including two in the Outstanding Short Documentary category. “9066: Fear, Football and the Theft of Freedom” and “Through the Storm” really caught the eye of the judges. Plus, the “NFL 360” feature “#FREETEZ” made waves with nominations in the Outstanding Long Feature and Outstanding Editing – Long Form categories.

NFL Films is no stranger to success either, with a total of 12 nominations this year. Notably, they secured four out of five nominations in the Outstanding Edited Event Coverage category. “Hey Rookie: Welcome to the NFL,” “NFL Draft: The Pick Is In,” “NFL GameDay All-Access – Super Bowl LIX,” and “NFL Turning Point” were all recognized. The gripping “Hard Knocks” also earned two nominations, making it a standout in the field.

And let’s not forget about the NFL’s three nominations in the Outstanding Public Service Content category. “NFC Championship: Somebody,” “Super Bowl LIX: Flag 50,” and “Youth Flag Football: Let’s Play” all earned well-deserved nods.
