The characters in “Adults” find that good intentions often lead to more trouble than expected.
“Adults” is a hilarious ensemble comedy following five twenty-somethings in New York who are trying their best to be decent human beings while still figuring out how to adult properly. The group consists of Samir (played by Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao), and Anton (Owen Thiele) living under one roof, sharing meals, fears, and sometimes even toothbrushes.
The show boasts a talented creative team with FX comedy veterans like Nick Kroll from “The League,” Stefani Robinson known for “Atlanta,” and “What We Do in the Shadows,” Sarah Naftalis also from “What We Do in the Shadows,” and Jonathan Krisel, known for “Baskets” and “English Teacher.”
Excitingly, “Adults” will feature guest stars such as Charlie Cox, Julia Fox, D’Arcy Carden, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, John Reynolds, and Ray Nicholson. The show is executive produced by Ben Kronengold & Rebecca Shaw, Nick Kroll, Stefani Robinson, Sarah Naftalis, and Jonathan Krisel. Alicia Van Couvering is also on board as an executive producer.
Formerly known as “SnowFlakes,” FX’s “Adults” will premiere on Wednesday, May 28th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX with the first two episodes. The entire first season, consisting of eight episodes, will be available on Hulu and Disney+ the following day. Subsequent episodes will air on FX in the following weeks.
