Apple TV+ Unveils Lumon Industries on Severance: Catering to Thousands of Fans

Apple TV+ recently hosted an exciting event that brought the world of Lumon Industries to life for fans of the show “Severance.” This one-day activation took place at the Bell Works building in Holmdel, New Jersey, and treated attendees to an immersive experience that celebrated the show’s renewal for a third season.

Fans were in for a surprise as they participated in the Outdoor Retreat Team-Building Occurrence (ORTBO), which featured a star-studded panel, live music, set recreations, and team-building activities from the show. Stephen Colbert hosted a live panel discussion with cast members and creators, including Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, and executive producer Ben Stiller.

The event kicked off with a live performance of the series’ haunting theme by Emmy-winning composer Theodore Shapiro. Attendees were also treated to a full-size exhibit of Lumon’s mysterious Mammalians Nurturable department, complete with a character from the show, played by Gwendoline Christie.

The experience was designed to blur the line between fiction and reality, with guests receiving official Lumon access cards and exploring iconic set pieces like Mark’s cubicle and the break room. The overall vibe of the event reflected the show’s dark take on work-life balance, with references to the unsettling premise of the series.

“Severance” has been widely acclaimed, receiving multiple Emmy nominations and wins for its first season. The show, which explores themes of memory manipulation and psychological tension, has resonated with audiences for its unique storytelling and compelling characters.

Created and executive produced by Dan Erickson, “Severance” is available for streaming on Apple TV+ with a subscription fee of $9.99 per month. Season three is already in the works, promising more twists and turns for fans of this gripping series.
