Weekend Watchlist: New Shows and Movies to Stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime

April has brought some snowy weather, perfect for snuggling up with a good movie or TV show. Luckily, there are plenty of new options to stream this weekend, so let’s dive in!

First up, we have “The Bondsman” on Prime Video, starring Kevin Bacon as a bounty hunter who’s brought back to life by the devil himself to hunt down demons. It’s an intriguing premise, and I’m curious to see where the story goes.

If demon hunting is your thing, “Devil May Cry” on Netflix might be right up your alley. This adaptation of the popular video game series does a great job capturing the spirit of the games, with a younger version of Dante taking center stage.

For fans of medical dramas, “Pulse” on Netflix follows the staff of a Miami trauma center as a hurricane approaches. It promises high-stakes conflict and plenty of drama, perfect for fans of shows like Grey’s Anatomy.

Looking for something a bit different? “Dying For Sex” on Hulu tells the story of a woman with terminal cancer who decides to embrace life and pursue new experiences. It’s a dramedy based on a true story, offering a different perspective on life’s challenges.

In theaters, “Hell Of A Summer,” written and directed by Finn Wolfhard, pays homage to 80s horror films. Critics are split on this one, so whether you’ll love it or hate it remains to be seen.

On a somber note, we recently lost Val Kilmer, but his legacy lives on in his films. If you’re looking to celebrate his work, classics like “Willow,” “The Doors,” and “Top Gun” are great choices.

And finally, in my weekly watchlist, “The Wheel Of Time” on Prime Video continues to impress with each season. It’s rare for a show to improve so drastically, but this fantasy series is hitting its stride in Season 3.

That’s the lineup for this weekend, so grab some popcorn and enjoy your streaming sessions! 🍿📺
