Diana Taurasi docuseries in development on Prime Video
Olympic gold medalist and basketball star Diana Taurasi will be the focus of an upcoming docuseries on Prime Video, as announced by the streamer on Friday. The three-part documentary series, titled Taurasi, will feature interviews with Taurasi herself, along with her family members, teammates, coaches, journalists, and others who have been a part of her journey. It promises to reveal a multifaceted athlete who is funny, defiant, vulnerable, and deeply relatable, showcasing her authenticity and dedication to greatness that have reshaped women’s basketball.
In other entertainment news, HBO has unveiled a new film titled “Mountainhead,” written and directed by “Succession” creator Jesse Armstrong, scheduled to premiere on May 31. Additionally, Disney has shared a new teaser and official clip of the beloved film “Lilo & Stitch” ahead of its upcoming theater release on May 23. The Brothers Osborne have also dropped a new single, “Finish This Drink,” along with a lyric video, marking their return to the music scene since their EP release, “Break Mine.”
