Prime Video Sponsorship of Kyle Larson: Filming Feature for NASCAR-Indy Double

Kyle Larson is gearing up to tackle the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 in one day once again, and this time, he’s got Amazon Prime Video on his side. Hendrick Motorsports recently announced that Larson’s No. 5 NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet and his No. 17 Arrow McLaren IndyCar Chevrolet will be sponsored by Prime Video in these May 25 races.

Not only will Prime Video be the sponsor, but they will also have a filming crew on-site to create a feature-length documentary capturing Larson’s journey. Last year, bad weather disrupted Larson’s double-duty attempt, but the production crew kept rolling, documenting his experiences. They plan to continue filming this year as Larson takes on the 1,100 miles of racing on the same day, with a commute of several hundred miles in between.

Prime Video is also set to broadcast its first NASCAR Cup Series race with the Coca-Cola 600, making this sponsorship even more special. Stacey Rosenson, head of U.S. Sports Marketing for Prime Video, expressed excitement about being part of one of the most thrilling storylines in sports. She highlighted the uniqueness of broadcasting such a historic moment live and capturing it in the documentary.

Larson is enthusiastic about the 2025 challenge and the opportunity to showcase his efforts in the documentary. Directed by Cynthia Hill and produced by several prominent entities, this documentary is expected to release in 2026. Larson shared his eagerness to build on last year’s experience and push even harder to complete the 1,100 miles. With Prime Video’s support and coverage, Larson is ready to dive into this crazy yet thrilling month of racing.
