But wait, there’s more! The rest of the Wilkerson family is also joining in on the fun. Anthony Timpano, known from Riverdale, will take on the role of Jamie, the youngest brother in the family. Plus, there’s a new addition to the family – Kelly, described as “non-binary, independent, and already wiser than the rest of the family”. Vaughan Murrae from Before I Change My Mind will bring this character to life.
The family is gearing up for the 40th wedding anniversary of Malcolm’s parents, Hal and Lois, played by Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. As Malcolm and his daughter Leah visit for the celebration, they find themselves caught up in the usual chaos of the Wilkerson household. Leah, played by Keeley Karsten, has her father’s wit and intelligence but is also much more sensitive.
To add to the excitement, Malcolm’s charming and determined girlfriend, Tristan, will be played by Kiana Madeira from Fear Street and After. With Linwood Boomer, the original series creator, returning to pen these new episodes, fans can look forward to the revival coming to Disney+ in the near future.
