Dewey Actor in Disney+ ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Revival
“Malcolm in the Middle” fans have a lot to look forward to with the upcoming revival on Disney+. While many familiar faces are returning, there’s a new addition to the family. Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, known for his role in an episode of “Fargo,” will be stepping into the shoes of Dewey, taking over for Erik Per Sullivan, who retired in 2010.
Aside from the exciting new casting, fans can expect to see Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield reprising their roles as Francis and Reese, Malcolm’s older brothers. The main cast will also include Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek as Malcolm, Hal, and Lois Wilkerson.
Adding to the mix are new faces like Anthony Timpano, Vaughan Murrae, and Keeley Karsten, who will be joining the cast in various roles in the show. The revival, set to be a four-episode run on Disney+, comes 25 years after the original series hit screens, running for seven seasons from 2000 to 2006 and winning seven Emmy Awards.
Filming has yet to start, but the cast is gearing up for production, with Frankie Muniz expressing his excitement on social media. It’s clear that the beloved sitcom continues to bring together a dedicated cast and crew, eager to share new stories with audiences.
