Prince Harry denies planning Princess Diana documentary for Netflix

Prince Harry has been making headlines recently, but contrary to reports, he’s not working on a Princess Diana documentary for Netflix. Despite rumors, Prince Harry has not been approached by Netflix to create a three-part series about his mother’s tragic passing. This proposed documentary, supposedly marking the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, was said to be a part of a new deal with Harry and Meghan Markle. However, a source close to their partnership with Netflix has clarified that this is not true.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020, but there are no plans for Prince Harry to produce a series about Princess Diana at this time. Although the idea of Harry hosting and narrating a documentary about his mother may have intrigued many, it seems this is not in the cards as of now.

This news comes after the release of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” The lifestyle series, which received mixed reviews, features Meghan sharing hosting and cooking tips with celebrity guests in her California kitchen. Despite the criticism, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos has defended Meghan and the show, emphasizing her influence on culture and the curiosity surrounding her and Prince Harry.

While there may not be a Princess Diana documentary in the works, fans of the royal couple can look forward to the second season of “With Love, Meghan” coming this fall. With filming already completed, viewers can anticipate more entertaining content from the Sussexes on Netflix in the future. Stay tuned for updates on this evolving story!
