New Power Rangers Series in Discussion for Disney+
A new Power Rangers series may be hitting Disney+ soon, according to a report from TheWrap. The show is in talks with Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, known for their work on Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hasbro is also set to produce the series.
The latest installment in the Power Rangers franchise, Power Rangers Dino Fury, premiered on Nickelodeon back in February 2021. This series is based on and utilizes footage from Kishiryū Sentai Ryūsoulger. Following its Nickelodeon run, the show moved to Netflix for its second season in March 2022. A third season, titled Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, made its debut on Netflix in September 2023.
Fans were also treated to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always 30th anniversary special on Netflix in April 2023. Additionally, a new game titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind was released digitally by Digital Eclipse and Hasbro for various gaming platforms in December 2025.
