The Gators have historically struggled against the Huskies, with a 1-5 record overall and a 1-1 record in NCAA Tournament matchups. In 2014, UConn bested Florida in the Final Four, ultimately clinching the national championship. However, in 1994, the Gators pulled off a thrilling upset against top-seeded UConn, propelling them to their first-ever Final Four appearance.
The Florida team has been on fire offensively, boasting an impressive seven-game win streak in March. During this stretch, they have been averaging an incredible 94.0 points per game, sinking an average of 10.9 three-pointers, and dishing out 17.4 assists.
