**What’s New & Notable This Weekend:**
**Ludwig (Britbox):** The BBC mystery series Ludwig has just arrived on BritBox, and it’s a delightful watch. Starring David Mitchell as twins John and James Taylor, this show is full of charm and intrigue. With John having to impersonate James, a police detective who goes missing, the plot thickens. If you enjoy shows like “Monk,” you’ll love Ludwig.
**The Residence (Netflix):** For fans of murder mysteries, The Residence on Netflix is a must-watch. Starring Uzo Aduba as the detective Cordelia Cupp solving a murder in the White House, this series has a classic Agatha Christie vibe. With an 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it promises to be a captivating mystery thriller.
**Happy Face (Paramount+), O’Dessa (Hulu), Wicked (Peacock), Anora (Hulu), Sing Sing (HBO/Max):** From post-apocalyptic rock operas to musicals like Wicked, there’s a wide range of options for every taste this weekend. Reviews may vary, but each show offers its own unique story and entertainment value.
**What I’m Watching Weekly:**
Two fantastic shows concluded this week – The Pitt on HBO/Max and Severance, my personal favorite on TV. The grand Season 2 finale of Severance left me in awe, and there’s so much to discuss!
**The Wheel Of Time (Prime Video):** The Wheel Of Time had a rocky start in Season 1 but has since improved significantly in Season 2. With Season 3 now airing, it continues to impress, making it a rare gem in TV series that only gets better with each season.
So whether you’re in the mood for a charming mystery, a thrilling drama, or a musical extravaganza, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this weekend!
