KSEE24 and CBS47 Launch New Streaming App for Valley Viewers

A new streaming app designed to help Central Valley residents stay informed about local news and events is soon launching on smart TV consoles. The app, created by Nexstar Media Inc., will debut as KSEE24 CBS47+ on March 31, offering free, around-the-clock streaming services with a focus on local, on-demand content.

With KSEE24 and CBS47 newscasts, live local sports coverage, talk shows, engaging segments, and fresh features like Lance Cardoza’s insightful business content, inside scoops on Fresno State and the Fresno Grizzlies, viewers can enjoy a wide array of entertainment with just a click away. This new app is poised to transform how Central Valley audiences access the latest news, weather updates, sports highlights, and entertainment directly on their television screens.

Excitingly, every Nexstar-affiliated station aims to introduce its exclusive streaming app on smart TVs by the end of the year to further enhance local coverage and provide tailored content for viewers. In partnership with Fresno State’s Mass Communications and Journalism (MCJ) department and local organizations, this streaming app is not just about delivering existing programming, but also about creating fresh collaborations that cater to the unique interests of Central Valley viewers.

As Jonathan Bravo, Fresno Grizzlies’ director of marketing and communications expresses, “We have an amazing opportunity to be one of the inaugural shows on their new streaming platform. We’re just really excited to reach a lot of our fans on this brand new platform.” This innovative approach to streaming keeps audiences engaged, informed, and entertained with a diverse range of content that celebrates the spirit of the Central Valley.
