Stunning Redesign of Sky-High Cocktail Bar in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is known for its stunning skyline views, and one of the best spots to take it all in is at the Waldorf Astoria. This iconic hotel is unveiling some exciting changes to its 23rd floor bar, formerly known as Skybar. The newly redesigned Peacock Alley lounge is now open for those looking to enjoy a relaxed afternoon tea, while the Hard Shake bar is the perfect destination for cocktail enthusiasts seeking a sophisticated ambiance to sip on martinis with a view of Las Vegas Boulevard.
This renovation is part of the Waldorf Astoria’s larger project to update their guest rooms and suites, as well as relocate their lobby to the ground floor. The design for both Peacock Alley and Hard Shake was led by the renowned Rockwell Group, known for their work on other high-design venues in Las Vegas.
The sleek makeover of the Hard Shake bar features an Art Deco-inspired aesthetic, complete with a marbled dark stone bar and an elegant gold light fixture that sets the mood just right. The cocktail menu has been revamped to include new creations like the Katana, a tantalizing blend of Japanese whiskey and scotch with pecan bitters. Late-night guests can indulge in a menu featuring dishes like honey shrimp with candied walnuts.
For those who enjoy a more laid-back experience, the Peacock Alley lounge offers a tea service around a new feather-shaped bar, serving up classic treats like dainty sandwiches, scones, pastries, and a variety of tea blends. Both venues are now open to guests, with Hard Shake operating from 6 p.m. to midnight on select days, and Peacock Alley offering tea service and lounge seating throughout the week.
Whether you’re in the mood for a sophisticated cocktail or a relaxing cup of tea, the Waldorf Astoria’s new offerings are sure to impress. Don’t miss out on these fantastic new spots when you visit Las Vegas!
