Carrie Underwood’s Husband Attends Opry 100 Red Carpet Event
Carrie Underwood and her husband, former hockey pro Mike Fisher, made a rare appearance together at the Opry 100: A Live Celebration red carpet event. This marked Fisher’s first red carpet appearance in over two years, and the couple definitely turned heads with their matching black outfits. Underwood looked stunning in a black gown with gold accents that perfectly complemented her blonde hair, while Fisher rocked a classic fitted suit. Their last red carpet appearance was at the 2022 CMAs, so fans were excited to see them together again at Opry 100.
During the event, Underwood wowed the audience with a touching tribute to country legend Randy Travis. She performed two of his songs, “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and received a well-deserved standing ovation. One special moment was when Underwood invited Travis to sing the final “amen” of the song, showcasing his incredible talent despite struggles with speech after a stroke. It was a heartwarming and unforgettable performance.
In a documentary titled Mike and Carrie: God & Country released in 2020, Underwood opened up about her marriage to Fisher. Despite their differences (such as Fisher being an avid hunter while Underwood doesn’t eat meat), the couple’s love and faith keep them strong. They may disagree on certain things, but they always come back to the love they have for each other, rooted in their faith and shared values. Their relationship is a beautiful example of how love and understanding can overcome any challenges.
