Hulu releases trailer for Dying for Sex with Michelle Williams

Hulu has just revealed the trailer for its upcoming series Dying for Sex, starring Michelle Williams in the lead role. This highly anticipated show will premiere on April 4.

The story follows Molly, a woman facing a Stage IV metastatic breast cancer diagnosis, on a journey of self-discovery. Determined to take charge of her life, she leaves her husband, Steve (played by Jay Duplass), to explore new experiences and desires.

Based on the true story of Molly Kochan, Dying for Sex is inspired by the popular podcast hosted by Molly’s best friend, Nikki Boyer. The series explores themes of empowerment, intimacy, and the pursuit of pleasure in the face of life’s uncertainties.

In the trailer released on March 18, viewers get a sneak peek into Molly’s bold approach to life. Opening up to her friend Nikki (played by Jenny Slate), Molly expresses her frustrations with her sex life and admits she’s never had an orgasm. This leads to the creation of an erotic bucket list and her venture into online dating, unapologetically rejecting judgment along the way.

Featuring a stellar cast including Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy, and Sissy Spacek, Dying for Sex also marks Michelle Williams’ return to the screen after The Fabelmans.

Early reactions to the trailer have been overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising Michelle Williams’ performance and expressing excitement for the series.

Dying for Sex premieres on Hulu on April 4.
