Upcoming Hulu Series: A Complete Unknown (KSHE 95)

The Bob Dylan biopic, “A Complete Unknown,” is now available for streaming on Hulu. Directed by James Mangold and starring Timothée Chalamet, the film originally premiered in theaters on Christmas Day and has been a hit, bringing in over $130 million worldwide.

The movie chronicles a 19-year-old Bob Dylan as he makes his way from Minnesota to New York City, where he rises to fame as a folk singer in the ’60s. The story culminates in his iconic electric rock ‘n’ roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Fun fact, Chalamet does all his own singing and guitar playing in the film!

“A Complete Unknown” has received high praise, earning eight Oscar nominations, including best picture, best actor for Chalamet, best supporting actor for Ed Norton in his portrayal of Pete Seeger, best supporting actress for Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, and best director for Mangold.
