WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Highlights – Belgium
Welcome to the latest WWE Raw coverage, this time on March 17. The European tour is in full swing, and thanks to Raw now being on Netflix, U.S. fans were able to catch the show live in the afternoon. No more waiting for pre-recorded episodes!
This week, Cody Rhodes finally got his chance to confront John Cena after Cena’s betrayal at Elimination Chamber. The show kicked off with the Brussels crowd creating their country’s flag with signs. Cena, normally welcomed with cheers, was met with a chorus of boos this time around. The crowd was split with “Let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chants.
Cena, in a surprising turn, gave a heartfelt speech about feeling like a victim in an abusive relationship with the crowd for 25 years. He declared he was breaking up with them before Rhodes made his entrance. The American Nightmare didn’t hold back, calling out Cena for turning on everyone.
The match lineup was action-packed, with Kaiser taking on Penta in a No Holds Barred match. Penta emerged victorious with a definitive win. Another standout moment was Dakota Kai defeating Ivy Nile, thanks in part to some ringside shenanigans with Chad Gable and the Creed brothers.
Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky’s contract signing for their WrestleMania title match was interrupted by Rhea Ripley, hinting at a possible triple threat. Jey Uso faced Austin Theory in a surprising squash match, with Uso coming out on top in under a minute.
The main event between Bron Breakker and Finn Balor lived up to expectations, with Breakker retaining his Intercontinental Championship in a hard-fought battle. The match was a standout, showcasing Breakker’s skills against a veteran like Balor.
Overall, this international episode of Raw provided plenty of excitement and drama as we head towards WrestleMania 41. Stay tuned for more updates and storylines as the event approaches!
