Sunita Williams SpaceX Crew-9 Return Live Stream: How to Watch

NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are on their way back to Earth after spending over nine months at the International Space Station. They successfully undocked from the ISS and are set to splashdown off the coast of Florida early Wednesday at 3:57 am IST.

The astronauts will return aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule after a 17-hour trip, with a splashdown scheduled for 5:57 PM EST on Tuesday in Florida (3.27 AM IST on Wednesday). NASA moved up their return from Wednesday due to unfavorable weather conditions later in the week.

You can watch Sunita Williams’ return live on NASA’s coverage, starting at 10:45 PM EST on Monday (8.15 AM IST on Tuesday) with hatch closure preparations. Live coverage will be available on NASA TV, Nasa+, and the agency’s official YouTube channel. You can also follow real-time developments on NASA’s official website and X account.

After 286 days in space, Williams and Wilmore will be flown to their crew quarters at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, United States. They will undergo several days of health checks as per routine for astronaut returns and will be allowed to go home after NASA flight surgeons’ approval. NASA will provide coverage of their return journey throughout the process.
