During the Thanksgiving Day weekend, “Moana 2” made history by having the highest opening for any film ($139.8 million) in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ history. The film’s success continued to soar, crossing the $1 billion mark in global ticket sales, making it the third highest-grossing release from Walt Disney Animation Studios of all time.

As 2024 came to a close, Disney+ boasted 124.6 million subscribers globally, excluding India. It’s safe to say that “Moana 2” has certainly made a splash in the streaming world, and Disney+ subscribers are loving it.
