The judges panel includes Season 4 winner, Carrie Underwood, as well as veterans Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, with host Ryan Seacrest leading the way. Who will impress the judges and make it through to the Hollywood Round? Let’s find out together as we live blog the auditions.

First up, we have Landry Champlin, a 23-year-old who wowed the judges with her rendition of Carrie Underwood’s song “Good Girl.” She’s got a big, growly voice that caught everyone’s attention. Carrie, Lionel, and Luke all gave her a thumbs up with 3 yeses.

Next, Victor Solomon brought his soulful interpretation of Lionel Richie’s “Hello” to the audition room. Having competed on The Voice previously, Victor impressed the judges once again with his talent. He received 3 yeses to move forward in the competition.

Isaiah Moore shared a heartfelt performance of Luke Combs’ “Where the Wild Things Are,” dedicating the song to his brother. Despite not being a standout singer, Isaiah’s emotional delivery resonated with the judges, earning him 3 yeses.

Grayson Torrence showcased her powerful voice with a cover of Christina Aguilera’s “Fall in Line.” The judges were impressed, with Luke calling it his favorite audition of the day. Grayson received 3 yeses to continue in the competition.

Brajawn Upshaw, a postal worker, took on Billie Eilish and Khalid’s “lovely” with a heartfelt performance. Despite some tune and enunciation issues, Brajawn’s tone captured the judges’ attention. After an emotional plea, he received 2 yeses and 1 no, with Carrie breaking the tie to send him through.

Unfortunately, Kase Tippens, a 14-year-old singer, was deemed too young for the competition and received a no from the judges. However, he left with a pep talk from Carrie to keep pursuing his dreams.

Mikaela Bautista sang Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love For You” with subtlety and nuance, impressing the judges with her confident performance. After some deliberation, she received 3 yeses to move forward.

Bryson Quick, a 17-year-old high school senior, took on Pink Floyd’s “Time” with a unique twang that caught the judges’ attention. They praised his storytelling voice, comparing him to past Idol winner Chayce Beckham. Bryson received 3 yeses and even got the chance to play at the Opry.

Finally, Carsen Webb, a 16-year-old with a soulful and powerful voice, delivered a show-stopping performance of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.” Despite his young age, Carsen’s talent shone through, earning him 3 yeses from the judges.
