Jensen Ackles Completes Prime Video Countdown Series in LA

Jensen Ackles has just finished filming his new series, Countdown, for Prime Video right here in Los Angeles.

The show starts off with a suspicious murder in broad daylight, which brings LAPD officer Mark Meachum, played by Jensen Ackles, into a secret task force of undercover agents from various law enforcement agencies. As they dig deeper into a darker conspiracy, the team must put aside their personal differences to save the city from impending danger.

Filming for Countdown began back in September in L.A. after Ackles wrapped up his guest appearance on Tracker in Vancouver.

What’s up next for Jensen Ackles? Well, there’s talk of another appearance on Tracker alongside Justin Hartley, reports suggest a return for Colter Shaw’s siblings. Plus, Ackles is gearing up for the final season of The Boys in Toronto where he plays Soldier Boy.

After The Boys, Ackles will jump into a new prequel series called Vought Rising set in the 1950s with Aya Cash.

Countdown consists of 13 episodes and features a talented cast including Jessica Camacho, Eric Dane, Violett Beane, Elliot Knight, and Uli Latukefu. The show is produced by Danneel Ackles, Chaos Machine Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
