Jon Hamm Turns to Life of Crime in Your Friends & Neighbors Trailer
series Your Friends & Neighbors is set to premiere, with new episodes arriving weekly. The show follows Jon Hamm’s character, Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a disgraced hedge fund manager who, after losing his job and going through a divorce, decides to resort to a life of crime.
In the affluent neighborhood where Coop lives, he devises a plan to steal from his neighbors’ homes to ease the financial strain he is under. However, as he delves deeper into this scheme, he uncovers dark secrets and dangers lurking behind the seemingly perfect facades of his wealthy neighbors.
Created and led by Jonathan Tropper, known for his work on “This Is Where I Leave You” and “Banshee,” the series explores themes of wealth, community, marriage, and midlife reflection. Tropper drew inspiration from his own experiences living in a similar affluent community, witnessing the rise and fall of economic bubbles and questioning the sustainability of such wealth-driven lifestyles.
The show features a talented ensemble cast, including Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt, and Donovan Colan. With a season 2 renewal already secured, viewers can expect an engaging and thought-provoking storyline as Coop navigates the consequences of his actions and seeks redemption.
