Prime Video: NASCAR Hall of Famer Carl Edwards Joins Inaugural Season
Prime Video recently revealed its star-studded on-air talent lineup for the inaugural season of its seven-year NASCAR Cup Series broadcasting agreement. One exciting addition to the team is NASCAR Hall of Famer Carl Edwards, who will join the crew for the 2025 season.
The broadcast will feature a three-man announce booth, led by play-by-play announcer Adam Alexander, joined by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and crew chief Steve Letarte. Additionally, the pit reporter lineup will include former Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, veteran reporter Marty Snider, and Kim Coon.
Carl Edwards will bring his 28-time NASCAR Cup Series race-winning experience to Prime Video’s in-studio pre-race and post-race shows. He will work alongside host Danielle Trotta and veteran racer Corey LaJoie as an analyst in the studio.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Carl, Trevor, Kim, and Marty to our NASCAR on Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer at Prime Video. “Carl’s Hall-of-Fame career, combined with the extensive experience of Trevor, Kim, and Marty, bring an unparalleled authenticity to our coverage.”
After feeling apprehensive about returning to the NASCAR world following his retirement in 2016, Carl Edwards found a warm welcome back at Darlington in 2023. This positive reception has led to his increased involvement in NASCAR and his role on Prime Video’s broadcast team.
The five-race Prime Video NASCAR Cup Series broadcast schedule for the 2025 season includes races at various iconic tracks, starting with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 25. Fans can look forward to an exciting season of racing coverage with this talented lineup of broadcasters.
