Looking for some support and community? Consider joining one of these upcoming support groups in the Carroll area!
First up is the Bereavement Support Group hosted by St. Anthony Regional Hospital. Open to anyone in the community who has experienced the loss of a loved one, this group offers a safe and supportive environment for sharing. The next meeting is scheduled for March 16th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the St. Anthony Regional Hospital Education Center. You can find more information and RSVP on their website.
If you or a loved one is affected by Alzheimer’s, you may want to check out the Alzheimer’s Support Group. This group meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Carroll Public Library from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Sponsored by St. Anthony Nursing Home, this group provides a space for sharing and support. Reach out to the library for more details.
Lastly, there’s the HEAL support group for individuals living with chronic illnesses like Long-COVID, chronic pain, and autoimmune diseases. Led by organizer Lydia Wahlert, this group meets on April 8th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Exira Library Meeting Room. If you’re looking for a supportive community to navigate life with a chronic illness, this group could be a great fit for you. Be sure to contact Lydia for more information.
