In other news, Disney is working on an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit TV series, set to be a blend of animation and live action. The project will be written and produced by Jon Favreau in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a character owned by Universal since 1928, has been a priority for Disney CEO Bob Iger. Disney acquired the trademark in 2006, and fans can look forward to seeing this classic character brought back to life in a whole new way.
