3 Netflix Shows I stopped watching and wouldn’t revisit
Netflix is known for its binge-worthy content, but not every show manages to keep us hooked. Sometimes, despite our initial enthusiasm, we find ourselves pressing pause and not returning. I, like many others, have experienced this with a few Netflix shows. Let me share with you three shows that I stopped watching and wouldn’t go back to.
First up, we have “Riverdale.” Based on characters from Archie Comics, this drama series follows Archie and his friends as they navigate the ups and downs of teenage life while uncovering dark secrets in their town. The first two seasons had me hooked with their engaging drama and thrilling twists. However, as the show progressed, the storylines took a bizarre turn with cults, supernatural elements, and alien abductions. After that, I couldn’t bring myself to continue watching.
Next, we have “The Night Agent.” This espionage thriller stars Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland, an FBI agent caught up in a vast conspiracy involving a mole in the US government. The high-octane action of the first season had me glued to the screen, but when season 2 returned, I found it to be slow-paced and lacking the excitement that initially drew me in.
Lastly, there’s “Elite,” a Spanish teen drama set in a prestigious private school. The clash between working-class students and the wealthy elite leads to a murder mystery in the first season. While the show initially gripped me with its complex relationships and gripping storyline, the departure of key cast members in later seasons made it difficult for me to connect with the new characters and repetitive plots.
While these shows may have their merits, they just didn’t hold my interest enough to keep me coming back. Have you ever stopped watching a show on Netflix and never looked back? Let me know in the comments!
