Disney+ Releases First Episode of “Win or Lose” on YouTube
Disney+ has just released the first episode of their new series “Win or Lose” on YouTube, and it’s already getting rave reviews. The show, created by Pixar Animation Studios, follows the stories of eight characters as they prepare for a championship softball game. Each episode dives into the lives of these characters, from the insecure kids to their overbearing parents and even a lovelorn umpire.
In the debut episode titled “Coach’s Kid,” we meet Laurie, a spirited 12-year-old who may not be the star player of her team, but she’s determined to make her dad, who also happens to be her coach, proud. Battling with her own insecurities, Laurie conjures up an imaginary creature named Sweaty to represent her fears and anxieties. As the championship draws closer, Laurie faces mounting pressure to prove herself on the field.
The show boasts an incredible voice cast, including Rosie Foss, Josh Thomson, and Lil Rel Howery, among others, who bring the characters to life with humor and heart. With a perfect blend of comedy, emotion, and stunning animation, “Win or Lose” delivers that classic Pixar magic that we all know and love.
Directed and written by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates, and produced by David Lally, this series promises to be visually captivating and deeply relatable.
