Government Cheese Apple TV+ Trailer – Watch Now

Today, Apple TV+ dropped the trailer for “Government Cheese,” a new comedy series starring David Oyelowo. Oyelowo not only stars in the show but also serves as an executive producer. The ten-episode series is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 16, with the first four episodes launching on that day, and new episodes coming out every Wednesday until May 28.

The series follows the Chambers family, set in 1969 San Fernando Valley, on their quirky and surreal adventures as they chase their dreams against all odds. When Hampton Chambers (played by Oyelowo) returns from prison, he finds his family, consisting of his wife Astoria (played by Simone Missick) and sons Einstein and Harrison (played by Evan Ellison and Jahi Di’Allo Winston), has created an unconventional family dynamic that turns their world upside down upon his return.

The cast of “Government Cheese” includes a talented ensemble of actors, including Jean-Michel Richaud, London Garcia, Djilali Rez-Kallah, Bokeem Woodbine, Jeremy Bobb, Louis Cancelmi, Julien Heron, Djilali Rez-Kallah, Louis Ferreira, Thomas Beaudoin, Kyle Mac, John Ortiz, and Adam Beach. The series is brought to viewers by Apple Studios and MACRO Television Studios, with creators Paul Hunter and Aeysha Carr at the helm as writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners.
