Pierce Brosnan stars in crime series “MobLand” on Paramount+

Pierce Brosnan is set to star as Conrad Harrigan, the head of an Irish crime family based in London, in a new series called “MobLand” on Paramount+. The show, created by Guy Ritchie, will also feature Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren in leading roles. The story follows the Harrigans and Stevensons, two rival London crime families, as they go head-to-head in a battle for power that could have far-reaching consequences.

In this gritty drama, Hardy portrays Harry Da Souza, a savvy problem-solver working for the Harrigan family. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, he finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous conflict where family ties are put to the ultimate test.

The series is set to premiere on March 30th exclusively on Paramount+ in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, with a global release planned for later this year. Pierce Brosnan takes on the role of Conrad Harrigan, the patriarch of the Irish crime family, and Helen Mirren plays Maeve Harrigan, his formidable wife and the matriarch of the family.

Joining the star-studded cast are Paddy Considine as Kevin, Conrad’s son, Lara Pulver as Bella, Kevin’s wife, Anson Boon as Eddie, Kevin’s rebellious son, and Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina, Conrad’s daughter. Joanne Froggatt and Jasmine Jobson also join the cast in key roles.

The announcement of “MobLand” was made by Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO, who praised the talented cast and creative team behind the show. Executive Vice President of programming for Paramount+, Jeff Grossman, shared his excitement about the high-caliber acting, intense storylines, and top-notch production viewers can expect from this gripping crime series.
