Meghan Markle’s Brother Criticizes False Stories About Her Childhood

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., is not holding back on his thoughts about the stories Meghan shared about her childhood in her new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series premiered on Netflix, where she shared her hosting tips and tricks. Meghan referred to herself as a “latchkey kid” and talked about her simple upbringing to connect with viewers. She mentioned growing up on fast food and TV dinners, recalling meals from Pollo Loco, Taco Bell, and Jack in the Box.

However, Thomas Jr. wasn’t impressed, calling her stories “malarkey” and accusing her of trying to gain sympathy. He emphasized that their family was not poor and criticized Meghan for how she treated their father. He expressed that the world isn’t buying into her relatability.

Thomas Jr. admitted to trying to watch the show but found better things to do with his time soon after. He shared that he felt sorry and embarrassed for Meghan while watching the series but decided against letting their father, Thomas Markle Sr., see it because of his health.

While Meghan portrays cooking as her love language in the series, Thomas Jr. disputed her claims by stating that she never cooked for anyone while growing up. He described her signature glaring look and hinted at her true nature.

Meghan’s Netflix series, directed by Michael Steed and featuring eight episodes, provides insight into her life through a cooking lens. The show has sparked mixed reactions, with Thomas Jr. questioning the authenticity of Meghan’s stories from her past.
