MLB Friday Night Baseball to Return on Apple TV+ – March 28
Apple TV+ is bringing back Major League Baseball’s Friday Night Baseball for its fourth season, starting on March 28th with weekly doubleheaders. “Friday Night Baseball” is a series of double-header games that will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ in 60 countries over 25 weeks. The first games will feature the Baltimore Orioles vs. the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Mets vs. the Houston Astros. Exciting matchups to look forward to in the first half of the season include a Yankees-Dodgers World Series rematch and the Rangers facing off against the Astros.
You can expect top-notch broadcasting with Wayne Randazzo, Dontrelle Willis, Heidi Watney, Alex Faust, Ryan Spilborghs, and Tricia Whitaker on the commentary team, along with Lauren Gardner, Russell Dorsey, and Xavier Scruggs handling pre- and post-game coverage. The MLB’s Emmy Award-winning production team will work with Apple’s live sports team to bring you immersive coverage with state-of-the-art cameras and 5.1 Spatial Audio to fully capture the stadium atmosphere.
U.S. fans will have access to more than just the Friday Night Baseball games, as Apple TV+ will also offer the “MLB Big Inning” whip-around show and additional content. Plus, viewers can enjoy multi-view on Apple TV 4K and iPad, allowing them to watch up to four simultaneous streams, including FNB games, MLS soccer matches, and select live shows.
For the 2025 season, Apple TV+ will premiere “Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series,” a documentary series providing exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of each team’s journey through the postseason. The Apple Sports app will keep fans updated on scores and standings, while Apple News will feature personalized MLB highlights for users. Apple Music subscribers can expect official MLB playlists, and Apple Vision Pro users will have access to an immersive video experience of Yankee Stadium with “VIP: Yankee Stadium.”
