Carrie Underwood joins ‘American Idol’ as new judge: Recommendations for this week

Carrie Underwood, the winner of American Idol in 2005, is making a grand return to the show that kickstarted her career. This time, she will be taking a seat at the judges’ table alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, replacing Katy Perry.
