Conan O’Brien, the 61-year-old comedian and TV personality known for shows like Late Night and Conan, will be hosting the 2025 Oscars. He takes over from Jimmy Kimmel, who hosted the show for the past two years.
Some of the fan-favorite films expected to win awards this year include Edward Berger’s Conclave, Sean Baker’s Anora, and Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, which have been nominated in multiple categories.
Nominations were announced earlier in the year, with Emilia Pérez from Netflix’s musical leading with 13 nominations, a record for a non-English-language film. Demi Moore and Ariana Grande are both up for awards for their roles in The Substance and Wicked, respectively.
