Top Movies to Watch in March 2025
March is fast approaching, and with it comes a slew of new film and TV projects to enjoy. If you’re on the lookout for some fresh content, look no further than these exciting releases from talented alumni of the AFI Conservatory film school.
First up, we have “The Actor,” written and directed by Duke Johnson, a member of the AFI Class of 2006. You can catch this film premiering on March 14 in select theaters.
Next, “Bob Trevino Likes It,” featuring Anisha Acharya, Edgar Rosa, and Rich Song, all AFI alumni. This project will be hitting theaters on March 21.
If you’re an Amazon Prime Video fan, mark your calendars for March 27 when “Bosch: Legacy,” executive produced by Pieter Jan Brugge, an AFI Class of 1979 alumni, will make its debut.
For Hulu enthusiasts, don’t miss “Deli Boys,” edited by Varun Viswanathan, premiering on March 6, and “Good American Family,” with Eric Jihwan Jeon as the Art Director, arriving on March 19.
Looking for a cinematic experience? Check out “Holland,” shot by cinematographer Pawel Pogorzelski, at the SXSW Film Festival on March 9, followed by a streaming release on Amazon Prime Video on March 27.
For those who love illustration, “Magazine Dreams,” featuring illustrator Zirao Zhang, will be shown in theaters from March 21.
And don’t forget to watch “McVeigh,” produced by Monte Zajicek, coming to VOD on March 21, along with “The Residence,” with Paula Huidobro as the cinematographer, streaming on Netflix starting March 20.
Lastly, “Rumours,” executive produced by Ari Aster and George Rush, will premiere on Paramount+ on March 3.
