The Office’s Oscar Nuñez Returning for New Mockumentary Series on Peacock

The Office is coming back, and the word is out that Oscar Nuñez will be reprising his role as Oscar Martinez in the new Peacock series. There have been some other exciting cast announcements too, like Sabrina Impacciatore, Domhnall Gleeson, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, and Ramona Young joining the lineup. It’s all part of a mockumentary series from Greg Daniels and Michael Koman.

This sequel, rumored to be called “The Paper,” will follow the staff of a struggling Midwestern newspaper as they try to revive it with the help of volunteer reporters. And get this—it will be “filmed” by the same documentary crew that made “The Office” such a hit, which could explain how Oscar ends up in this new setting.

So far, we don’t have many more details about the series, but fans are eagerly awaiting its premiere on Peacock. It’s hard to believe that “The Office” aired for nine seasons on NBC, and now we’re about to dive back into that mockumentary world once again. Do you think you’ll tune in to see the new series when it debuts?
