Streaming Ratings: ‘Severance’ Keeps Up Strong Performance on Apple TV+

Season two of Severance on Apple TV+ is really making waves! According to Nielsen, it ranked fourth among original streaming shows for the week of Jan. 27-Feb. 2, with a whopping 557 million minutes of viewing. That’s a bit lower than the first two weeks of the season, but still stellar. In fact, Severance has had the best three-week run of any Apple TV+ show since Ted Lasso in 2023.

Meanwhile, The Night Agent continued its winning streak, staying at the top of the charts for the second week in a row, pulling in 2.92 billion minutes of viewing on Netflix. Another Netflix hit, The Recruit, made a strong second-place debut with 1.19 billion minutes for its season two premiere.

Other notable mentions on the top 10 original series chart include Netflix’s American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson and Hulu’s Paradise. Bluey hit a milestone with its 50th week of over a billion viewing minutes, setting a new record in Nielsen’s streaming charts.

Prime Video’s comedy You’re Cordially Invited reigned over the movie rankings, drawing 827 million minutes for its premiere weekend.

These ratings reflect viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on other devices. So, if you were wondering what everyone’s been watching lately, now you know!
