Real Salt Lake Home Opener Saturday Afternoon at 2:30pm MT
Real Salt Lake is gearing up for their first home game of the 2025 Major League Soccer season against the Seattle Sounders FC at America First Field on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 2:30 PM MT, and tickets are available on the RSL website.
After a busy stretch on the road, with only six out of the last 24 days spent at home, RSL is excited to play in front of their home crowd. The game against Seattle is expected to be a sellout, but don’t worry if you can’t make it to the stadium – you can catch the action on Apple TV+ or MLS Season Pass. Max Bretos & Brian Dunseth will be on the call in English, while Francisco X. Rivera & Martin Zuniga will provide Spanish commentary.
This match is an important one for RSL, as they have a strong history of performing well in home openers. They will be looking to improve upon their 9-2-9 record in MLS curtain-raisers and their 12-1-4 record against Seattle on Utah soil.
Under coach Pablo Mastroeni, RSL has shown resilience in bouncing back from losses. This season, they are aiming for their fifth consecutive postseason berth and seventh in the last eight seasons. Mastroeni, who earned his 50th win with RSL last year, has been instrumental in the club’s success.
RSL returns nearly 21,000 collective minutes played from last year’s roster, as they look to build on their record-setting 2024 campaign. Last year, they reached an all-time high of 59 points in the regular season, finished third in the Western Conference, and scored a record-setting 65 goals.
Don’t miss out on all the action as Real Salt Lake takes on the Seattle Sounders in their first home game of the season. It’s sure to be an exciting match that you won’t want to miss!
