New Live SportsCenter Show ‘SC+’ Streaming on Disney+
A new SportsCenter show called ‘SC+’ is set to debut on Disney+ starting Monday, March 3, 2025. This daily sports commentary show will be available to all Disney+ subscribers in the United States.
Hosted by Gary Striewski and Randy Scott on weekdays at 9:00 AM EDT, and by Hannah Storm and Jay Harris on weekends, ‘SC+’ aims to provide sports fans with the top moments, stories, insights, and exclusive commentary in a fast-paced and engaging format.
The show will be built around the popular “SC Top 10” daily countdown of sports moments, delivering the most important sports news stories of the day alongside insights from ESPN’s top insiders and reporters.
According to Mike Foss, Senior Vice President of Studio & Entertainment, the goal of ‘SC+’ is to infuse the iconic SportsCenter brand with the energy and creativity of Disney+. The show will offer a fresh approach to telling sports stories that will appeal to both die-hard sports fans and casual viewers.
Gary Striewski and Randy Scott will host the weekday editions of ‘SC+’ while also anchoring the 7:00 AM ET SportsCenter on ESPN. On weekends, Hannah Storm and Jay Harris will take over, offering a fresh perspective on the day’s top sports moments.
With the addition of ‘SC+’, Disney+ standalone subscribers will have access to a curated selection of content from ESPN+ and Hulu, including live sports events, studio shows, ESPN Originals, TV series, and films—all in one place. Subscribers to the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle will have full access to the ESPN+ content library, which includes over 30,000 live sports events annually, on-demand replays, original content, and studio programming.
