Doctor Who Season 2 Returns on Disney+

Exciting news for all the Whovians out there! Disney Branded Television and the BBC have teamed up to bring us season two of “Doctor Who”, premiering on Saturday, April 12 at 12:00 a.m. PDT / 3:00 a.m. EDT on Disney+ (for those lucky enough to have access) and exclusively on the BBC and BBC iPlayer in the UK. Each week, new episodes from the eight-part season will hit our screens, taking us on a wild ride through time and space.

In this season, the Doctor encounters Belinda Chandra and embarks on a thrilling quest to bring her back to Earth. But things take a turn when a mysterious force intervenes, making their return journey anything but smooth sailing. The TARDIS team must navigate through great dangers, face formidable enemies, and confront wider terrors than ever before.

And if that wasn’t enough to get you excited, Emmy® Award winner Alan Cumming will make a guest appearance in the second episode as Mr. Ring-a-Ding. Known for his role in “The Traitors”, Cumming brings his talent to the Whoniverse once again, this time playing a cheerful and musical character who finds himself in a precarious situation when he looks beyond the silver screen and discovers the real world outside.

Fans of the show will remember Cumming as King James I from the 2018 episode “The Witchfinders”, so it’s safe to say his return to “Doctor Who” promises to be nothing short of spectacular. Get ready to be transported to new worlds, face new challenges, and unravel the mysteries of time and space in this upcoming season of “Doctor Who” on Disney+!
