Paramount+ Announces Premiere Date for Guy Ritchie’s Organized Crime Series “MobLand”
The latest offering from Guy Ritchie now has a name and a premiere date, folks. What’s the scoop? Paramount+ has just announced that MobLand, which boasts a star-studded cast led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, will begin airing on the streaming service this March. Back in November, it was initially revealed that the series was in production and set to air on Showtime, so it’s exciting to see MobLand secure its place on Paramount+!
It turns out that the cast isn’t the only impressive thing about MobLand. This organized crime drama, featuring Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber, follows the fierce battle for power between two rival crime families. It’s a star-studded lineup to say the least!
If you’re curious about the series, here’s a sneak peek that Paramount+ kindly shared with us: “MOBLAND features a star-studded cast,” they said, “including Tom Hardy (Venom: The Last Dance), Piers Brosnan (Die Another Day), Paddy Considine (House Of The Dragon), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Da Vinci’s Demons), Anson Boon (Pistol), Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Geoff Bell (Top Boy), Daniel Betts (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lisa Dwan (Blackshore), Emily Barber (Industry), and the iconic Helen Mirren (The Queen).”
The heart of MobLand centers around Brosnan’s character, head of an organized crime family, fighting for power within a global criminal syndicate. Sounds intense! The series is a product of MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, and executive produced by a range of super-talented folks.
Remember your calendars for MobLand’s premiere on March 30th, and let us know…will you be tuning in to catch this star-studded showdown?
