Meghan Peacock: Football Athletic Trainer and Support Staff for UNI Panthers

Meet Meghan Peacock, the friendly and knowledgeable athletic trainer for the Panther football team at UNI. Meghan joined the team in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience in sports medicine.

Before coming to UNI, Meghan worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Sam Houston State. There, she focused on caring for the football and golf teams, as well as managing inventory and ordering for the Sports Medicine department. Meghan was at Sam Houston from 2017-20, during which she completed her master’s degree in Sport and Human Performance.

Meghan’s journey in athletic training started at Iowa State University, where she graduated in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in athletic training. At Iowa State, she gained experience working with a variety of sports programs, including football, volleyball, track and field, and women’s basketball.

As an Iowa native, Meghan has a deep appreciation for the outdoors. In her free time, you can find her riding horses, kayaking, hiking, practicing archery, or working out. Meghan’s dedication to her work and her passion for sports medicine shine through in everything she does. With her expertise and friendly demeanor, Meghan is a valuable asset to the Panther football team at UNI.
