Meghan Markle deletes and reposts backstage footage of new Netflix show

Meghan Markle caused a bit of confusion among fans when she posted and then deleted some behind-the-scenes footage of her new Netflix show on Wednesday. The 43-year-old had previously announced her cooking show, “With love, Meghan,” last year, but due to the California wildfires, its release was delayed. Now, just days away from its launch on March 4th, Markle shared some backstage moments including dancing in the kitchen and even a cameo from her husband, Prince Harry, as well as their late beagle, Guy.

The Daily Mail reported that after the clips made the rounds on Twitter, Markle re-posted an identical video on her Instagram with a caption counting down to the show’s release and thanking everyone involved in its making. Interestingly, comments were turned off for this post. The show will consist of eight episodes, each 33 minutes long, with guest appearances from Mindy Kaling and one of Markle’s former “Suits” co-stars, Abigail Spencer.

This isn’t the first time Markle has worked with Netflix. In 2022, the couple released a docuseries called “Harry & Meghan” which garnered over 2.4 million viewers on its premiere day. Markle shared in a trailer for her new show that it’s all about “connecting with friends” and making new ones.

Earlier this year, the royal couple donated supplies and served meals to victims of the California wildfires. Living in Montecito, California, they experienced the need to evacuate themselves due to the high-risk fire zone in the area. They visited an evacuation center in Pasadena, distributing food to those affected by the Eaton Fire and offering support to families and the elderly.

Markle’s new show on Netflix promises to be a heartwarming experience, with glimpses behind the scenes and special appearances from some familiar faces. It’s set to be a delightful addition to her growing repertoire on the popular streaming platform.
