Fifth Descendants Movie Premiering on Disney Channel and Disney+
Today, exciting news was announced by Disney Branded Television – a new chapter of the popular Descendants movie series is on its way to Disney Channel and Disney+! Production for the fifth movie is gearing up to start soon.
Fans can look forward to more music-and-dance-filled adventures featuring the teenage offspring of Disney’s iconic characters and villains. Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker will be back on screen as Princesses Red and Chloe, daughters of the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella. Stay tuned for the official title of the film!
Set right after the events of the last movie, Descendants: The Rise of Red, the upcoming installment will dive into what life is like for Red and Chloe after their time-traveling escapades. Taking place mainly in present-day Wonderland, this sequel will explore the consequences of altering time, as teased in the previous film.
Joining the cast are new faces like Liamani Segura, Brendon Tremblay, Alexandro Byrd, and Kiara Romero, adding fresh energy to the Descendants world. Directed by Kimmy Gatewood, with a script by Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer, this movie is in good hands. Returning producers Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh are also on board to continue the magic of the franchise.
