This documentary offers a fresh take on the U2 frontman’s one-man stage show, Surrender: An Evening of Words, Music and Some Mischief, which corresponds with the release of his memoir, Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, that came out in November 2022.

The film captures moments from one of Bono’s performances at New York’s Beacon Theatre, where he shares personal stories about his life, family, friends, and more. Additionally, the documentary includes performances of some U2 songs that have been significant in shaping his life and legacy.

Bono: Stories of Surrender (Immersive) will debut on May 30, offering an immersive viewing experience recorded in 8K with Spatial Audio technology to create a 180-degree video. This will mark the first feature-length film available on Apple Vision Pro.
