Paramount+ reveals new documentary about Ozzy Osbourne

In exciting news, Paramount+ has just announced the production of a new documentary on heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne. Known for his groundbreaking work with Black Sabbath and his successful solo career, Osbourne has faced some tough times in recent years following a serious fall in 2019. The upcoming documentary, titled “Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now,” will delve into these setbacks and is set to premiere on Paramount+ later this year.

In a recent statement, Osbourne himself shared, “The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I’ve been through. There’s been times when I thought my number was up. But making music and creating two albums saved me. I’d have gone nuts without music.” The documentary, directed by BAFTA Award winner Tania Alexander, began filming in 2022 during the recording of Osbourne’s 13th studio album, “Patient Number 9.” The film will continue to capture Osbourne’s journey as he seeks to take the stage for one final performance with his Black Sabbath bandmates at a sold-out show at Villa Park in Birmingham, England on July 5.

Featuring intimate interviews with Osbourne, his wife Sharon, and their children, “Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now” will also include insights from key figures in his life such as Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, and Robert Trujillo, among others. Sharon Osbourne highlighted, “This film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years. It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. It’s about the reality of his life now.”

Stay tuned for this compelling documentary, which promises to offer an inspiring look at Osbourne’s resilience and legacy. Produced in partnership with the Osbournes and MTV Entertainment Studios, “Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now” is sure to captivate fans worldwide when it premieres on Paramount+ in the near future.
