New Documentary Film Featuring Ozzy Osbourne to Debut on Paramount+
Ozzy Osbourne fans, get ready for a brand new documentary that will give you an up-close and personal look at the rock legend’s journey leading up to Black Sabbath’s final show. The film, called Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, will dive into Ozzy’s recent struggles and his determination to hit the stage for one final performance.
Directed by Tania Alexander, this documentary started filming in 2022 during the recording of Ozzy’s thirteenth studio album, Patient Number 9, and will continue to capture moments leading up to the all-star event at Villa Park on July 5th. The documentary will premiere on Paramount+ later this year and promises to show Ozzy Osbourne in a whole new light, offering a glimpse into his life behind the scenes.
In a statement posted on social media, Paramount+ shared, “Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now” will reveal the setbacks Ozzy has faced since his fall in 2019 and his journey to overcome health challenges, including Parkinson’s disease. This film aims to showcase Ozzy’s resilience, humor, and his enduring love for music, even in the face of adversity.
Ozzy himself expressed his gratitude to fans, stating that the past six years have been tough, and there were moments when he feared he wouldn’t make it. But he’s determined to give his fans a proper goodbye at the Villa Park show, emphasizing the importance of this final performance for him.
Despite facing health issues, Ozzy is pushing himself to make a return to the stage for the farewell show with Black Sabbath, scheduled for July 5th. While he won’t be playing a full set with the band, he plans to be a part of the event and do what he can comfortably manage.
The show, titled “Back To The Beginning,” will feature a reunion of the classic Black Sabbath lineup after 20 years, along with performances from Metallica, Slayer, and other iconic rock bands. Additionally, a star-studded lineup of musicians will join forces for this all-day event, making it a metal gig to remember.
Ozzy’s wife, Sharon, shared that Ozzy is overwhelmed by the support and participation of so many friends and fellow musicians in the show. She described it as the best metal gig ever, highlighting the camaraderie and friendship among the artists involved.
