2025 NHL Draft to be Hosted in Los Angeles

Exciting news for hockey fans! The 2025 Upper Deck NHL Draft™ is set to take place in Los Angeles at L.A. Live’s Peacock Theater on June 27-28, 2025. This isn’t the first time the city and the Los Angeles Kings have hosted this event, as it was previously held there back in 2010.

The draft will span two days, with the first round broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN+, Sportsnet, and TVA Sports on Friday, June 27. The action continues on Saturday, June 28, with rounds 2-7 airing on NHL Network, ESPN+, Sportsnet, and SN1. Top prospects will be present at the Peacock Theater, along with fans and media, while NHL club executives, scouts, and coaches will join virtually.

Steve Mayer, President of NHL Events & Content, highlighted that the NHL Draft is a fantastic platform for showcasing future NHL stars, making Los Angeles – a city known for its stars – an ideal host.
