Prime Video Comedy Series Jury Duty Returns for Season 2 with New Setting
Prime Video is bringing back the popular comedy series, Jury Duty, for a second season! According to reports, the new season has already been filmed and is set to take a different direction from the first season. Instead of a courtroom setting, the show will now explore a corporate retreat.
In its debut season in 2023, Jury Duty followed the hilarious story of Ronald Gladden as he unwittingly participated in a fake trial. Little did he know, everyone involved, including Westworld star James Marsden, was an actor, except for him. The show premiered on Amazon’s AVoD service Freevee and quickly became a fan favorite.
Created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, Jury Duty has a talented team of executive producers, including showrunner Cody Heller, David Bernad, Todd Schulman, Ruben Fleischer, Andrew Weinberg, Nicholas Hatton, and Jake Szymanski. Amazon even struck an overall deal with the star of the show, Ronald Gladden.
